Storyline

Disciplined Italian composer Antonio Salieri becomes consumed by jealousy and resentment towards the hedonistic and remarkably talented young Viennese composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Fay:
“Amadeus is now a 40 year old film, but it remains just as impressive as ever – a film that continues to surprise with every viewing. The story revolves around Mozart, but it’s told from the perspective of his jealous rival Salieri, which makes it all the more intriguing and dramatic. The music is, of course, phenomenal, but the costumes and visuals are equally stunning. It’s no wonder Miloš Forman’s Amadeus won 8 Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor. So even if you’re not familiar with Mozart, there’s still so much to enjoy. If you’ve never seen a true 10/10 film, this is your chance.”
